2月14日のチョコレート from my wife

昨晩は２月１４日、ヴァレンタインデー。
家内からチョコレートをプレゼントされた。
結婚してから数10年、毎年欠かさず私にプレゼントしてくれる。

数日前に私は何故か、「チョコいらないよ。」と家内に言ってしまった。
何故そんなことを言ったのか自分でも分からない。
それでも昨晩にチョコレートをプレゼントされた。
お手製のチョコと市販のチョコの２種類も。

箱に書いてあるフランス語は、「アムール」（愛）、「ジュテーム」（愛してる）等だった。

私が好きな生チョコ、家内は忘れていない。

ブログを開設して初めてのヴァレンタインデーだった。
「ありがとう。」、ボソッと言った。
照れくさいほど若くはない。
でも家内の毎年の心使いを嬉しく思う。

ありがとう。

お返しの「ホワイトデー」に家内に贈ったことは一度もない。
ただ大昔、家内の誕生日に『ドクタースランプ　あられちゃん』の大きなぬいぐるみを一度だけプレゼントしたことがある。
『ドクタースランプ　あられちゃん』がテレビで大ブレイクしていた頃だった。
何故贈ったかその起因はすっかり忘れてしまったが、その当時家内に悲しい、
あるいは寂しい思いをさせてしまったことがあるのだろう。
だから子供じみたが、『あられちゃん』だったのです。
家内は突然の『あられちゃん』だったので、驚き、『あられちゃん』をギュッと抱きしめ、やがて大粒の涙を流した。
そしてその後、微笑んでくれた。
